Permits & Policies

All Transportation and Utility Permits must be completed online through the County’s website. 

 Utility & Transportation Permit Fees:

  • Construction Materials (Annual) Six-Axle 90,000 lbs. = $300
  • Construction Materials (Annual) Seven-Axle 97,000 lbs. = $500
  • Overweight/Oversize (Single) move application = $25
  • Overweight/Oversize (Annual) move application = $250
  • House (Single) move application = $25
  • Utility Permit = $50

All Driveway, Ditching, and Object within Right of Way Permits must be completed on paper and returned to the Red Lake County Highway Department with required deposit.
