Red Lake County Social Services follows state and federal statutes when delivering services. In areas where local planning is allowed, we develop county-specific plans to meet the unique needs of our community.

Below, you’ll find plans and policies that guide how we deliver services and use funding. Some of these are open for public review and input, and we welcome your feedback at any time.

Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) – Public Notice

The Minnesota Department of Human Services invites public review and comment on the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) Annual Report. This report is published to meet federal public input requirements under Title XX of the Social Security Act.

The report includes:

  • Actual SSBG expenditures for SFY 2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023)
  • Planned SSBG expenditures for SFY 2025 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025)

This grant supports locally relevant services that meet the needs of Minnesota residents.
