Auditor
The County Auditor is a county official appointed by the Red Lake County Board of Commissioners. Minnesota Statutes govern the duties of the Auditor's office. The County Auditor is the chief financial officer for the county, and traditionally is responsible for many of the administrative duties as well.

Central Accounting
- Provides financial information for many internal and external requests
- Processes the accounts payable for most of the county funds
- Processes the accounts receivable for all funds
- Coordinates and prepares the annual budget
- Prepares schedules for the annual audit
- Prepares the financial statement summary for publication
- County Capital Assets
- Administers insurance records for the county
- Maintains county policies
County Payroll
- Processes payroll for all county departments
- Maintains payroll system database
