Foster Care

Child Foster Care

Become a foster parent

Thank you for considering becoming a licensed child foster care provider. Foster parents make a difference every day in the lives of children in need. They provide homes for children whose families are unable to provide care for them. Foster care keeps children safe while supporting families' efforts to reunify.

Most children who enter foster care return to their families. When families are not able to reunite, foster parents provide a safe, stable, nurturing home until a relative can be found to care for the children. In some cases, foster families can provide a permanent home for children that cannot reunify with their family or live with a family member.

We are always actively encouraging interested individuals to consider becoming a licensed child foster care provider. Please contact our office if you are interested.

The decision to foster comes with incredible rewards and challenges. Our community needs foster homes to affirm and reflect each unique child's identity. Please watch the video for more information on what foster care is all about.
